Relaxing 4th

I thought that today was going to end up a lot like yesterday. I had to get dressed in the dark and ended up putting my shirt on inside out. I then wore earrings that didn't quite match my outfit. When I got to work I was told I had deodorant on my shirt. Luckily I had changed and put my shirt on the right way, but I guess I had gotten some on me in the process.

The rest of the day transitioned into a good one! Work flew by and we even enjoyed a ice cream social at work!

I am tickled pink that tomorrow is the 4th! I wish that I was having a big party and getting to entertain with all kinds of red, white, and blue - instead it will be a nice, relaxing day with the hubby and a few friends. In the process of trying to plan a last minute get-together I came up with a brilliant party idea! I am super excited about it and can't wait to do it. I'm thinking I'll throw it at the end of the summer when everyone can come and enjoy themselves!

So tonight it looks like I'm hitting the driving range. And that statement may be more literal than it should be...some friends of ours enjoy golfing together, and my hubby enjoys golfing, so that leaves me. I told my hubby that I would like to learn the game and would be up for practicing some swings - so tonight's the night. We'll see how this goes. I'm sure it will be hilarious! Who knows? Maybe tomorrow I'll have a new wish to add to the list...

My picAday is of our Ice Cream social event today at work. Lots of yummy flavors but had to add in mine - Chocolate Malted Crunch! Reminds me of the good ol' days with my bestie!
