Happy Belated 4th & kimK Buns

Happy belated 4th! It turned out to be a relaxing day with friends and family. We celebrated with some yummy strawberry shortcake, a funny movie, and great company! Here's some snapshots from our evening.

 I wanted to go all out and do a 4th of July themed party...but timing was off and red strawberries with white whipped cream had to do. It was really yummy though! We also used our ice cream maker for the first time. The homemade vanilla ice cream was a success!

Yesterday was wishful, wants Wednesday - but as you can see I didn't post. I wanted to talk about my golfing experience and let you all know how much I enjoyed myself! I do want to continue going to the driving range and the big plan is to golf when we all go to Hawaii! It will be so much fun!

As for today, Thankful Thursday, I have to say how thankful I am for my work besties! These girls get me through the work days and make me laugh so much! 2 of us were rocking the kimK bun this morning. We were hoping that our real kimK was rocking one too, but were saddened when she wasn't. We took a picture anyways - without her, but realized that it just wasn't the same picture without her. So...we made her put her hair in the famous bun! It was classic!

 All was well with the world after she joined the picture! I just lover her!!!

My picAday is of a gorgeous tree on campus here at work. I was in so much love with all the purple trees on campus just a few weeks ago...however, pink trumps purple any day - at least in my book!
