Oh the list....it's always on my mind come Wednesdays! It's so hard to remember to reference it throughout the week, but come Wednesday blog time that's all I can think about!
Sadly, I can't say that I have another thing to cross off my "to-do" list but I can say that I've come up with a new plan for exercising!
One of my besties went walking with me yesterday and we walked for such a long time! It was nice to catch up and get some exercise at the same time! After our walk we decided to grab an ice cream (I know, counter-productive) and we sat and talked awhile longer. We are so much alike and sometimes it feels like she's reading my mind. She is my carbon-copy! We are a lot alike in the fact that we are social people and we'd rather do something that is social vs. not. In saying that, most of the time working-out is a non-social thing (especially at the gym where you don't know anything). So we'd much rather work-out together!
We discussed options for this and I'm quite excited about our plans! We've decided to run for 30 minutes 3 days a week. We know that the first couple (or many) times we attempt 30 minutes of running will be absolutely miserable. But we're going to keep going! We will then complete some strength training exercises - including the 100 work-out plan from Pinterest. This will be a great way to tone-up using our own bodies as resistance. One night will be a "take-it-easy" night and we will enjoy walking. It will be a great time to catch up and have a little girl-time.
I am such a goal-oriented person and I crave structure in my everyday life. This mini-plan will be nice to have and implement.
