Babies, Plans and Life

Babies, babies, babies! I'm am tickled pink by them! No, I'm not announcing a pregnancy or anything like that. Just stating a fact that I love babies! (As I write this I realize this might sound a little creepy).
I hope it doesn't come off like that, I just have been ready to be a mom for a long time! I can't wait until I'm pregnant and I can feel the baby move inside me and all the other exciting things that come with pregnancy!

I had the chance to attend a baby shower the other day! It was loads of fun and made me anticipate motherhood all the more! I was planning on creating a diaper cake but that plan failed miserably. Sadly, the diapers were patterned with colors I wasn't planning on and so the color scheme was all wrong. So instead of creating the cake from diapers, I wrapped up everything in matching paper and settled for plan B. Next baby shower I'll be making the diaper cake...and that time around I'll make sure I'm buying plain white diapers!

Speaking of "Plan B", I've noticed I've had to utilize this option more often lately. Plans never seem to go like I thought they would and plan B has become a close friend. I'm not the biggest fan of "plan B" but it's better to have something to fall back on then to be scrambling for options. I'll take the plan B over uncertainty anytime!

My picAday is one stolen from the other day! Here is my bestie! She's getting married and I'm planning her wedding! I can't wait to get down to business and really dig in to making her big day the best!

I guess I have two picAdays! This one is from lunch today. We had a "welcome & farewell" party for the newbies at work. I guess I was considered a newbie as well and we were welcomed with yummy food and great company!
