A New Chapter

I completed my first day of work back at LSU and I'm loving being back! Was able to catch up with some old coworkers/friends and got a lot done on my first day!

Many things have happened since I last posted on here. Life has changed in many ways and I am so happy with where we are at this point in time.

"Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it." I'm not sure where I've heard this line before but it is playing over and over in my head tonight. It seems like my life has really snuck up on me lately and I'm in a happy place! I feel content with what I have and am so thankful for everything in my life.

Just to catch up on all the things going on in our life:

• My hubby is finishing up his 1st year of Dental School
• I am planning a wedding for one of my besties 
• My baby cousin is graduating from high school in a few short weeks and will be joining us down south for college next year
• We are saving up for our 1st family car (no additions to the family yet but need to plan for the future)
• We are also saving up for our very first trip to Hawaii for next Summer! It will be a nice celebration of my hubby getting half-way through Dental School and a nice treat for us!

These are just some of the updates in our life. We are so blessed to have so many things to be grateful for!
