Sickness, Accomplishments and Dr's

Saturday night I ended up with the stomach flu, or food poisoning - who can tell? Whatever it was, it was miserable! So much for my big plans I had on Sunday! I wanted to garden and be in the sunshine for most of the day. Instead I was in bed trying to keep down popsicles and saltine crackers. No fun! Not to mention I was in a ton of pain - just real achy from being sick.

I went to bed early last night and got a great night's sleep! I woke up this morning with no nausea (thank God) and with less achy-ness. I was really weak (probably due to the fact that I had nothing in my system) and decided to have a popsicle for breakfast. After I gained back the trust from my body and figured out I could hold food down I decided that it was time to eat. So, what did I decide to have? A cheeseburger! I know it sounds crazy but it was the only thing (I mean only) that sounded remotely good. I ate it slow, and was a little worried, but kept it down and began gaining back some energy.

Luckily on Sabbath I wasn't feeling sick until the evening. I woke up real early in the morning and quickly got into a organizing/cleaning mode. I decided to finally conquer the office and all the filing I need to get done. After two hours of sorting, piling, filing, and shredding I got the office organized and cleaned! It feels so good! I'm so thankful I was able to get that out of the way before the flu hit! I can now say my weekend was efficient!

Today I rested and went to the doctor's this afternoon. She is the first Dr that I can say I really love! She is so helpful with everything and makes me feel like all my questions are answered. She also makes me feel taken care of and I am so appreciative of that! I haven't had a great Dr since my pediatrician and I'm so thankful that I found her!

Tomorrow is back to work, back to school, and back to my routine! Tonight I'm curling up with a blanket to watch "The Bachelor"and hear all the juicy gossip of behind the scenes and what-not.

Until next time...ta ta for now!
