Routines, To-Do's, and a Quick Weigh-In

Between trying to get baby C on some type of routine and getting things done around the house, there had been hardly any time to blog! i miss it.

baby C is growing so quickly and i think we've figured out what works best for the both of us. He is on a 3 hour routine during the day (meaning he eats every 3 hours). He is a very happy baby, as long as he gets his food and sleep, and he is full of energy! i love getting to know him better every day. And his smiles are adorable! i love seeing his face light up when he sees me after a nap. Or how he locks eyes with me now. This new development, keeping eye contact, is one this mommy adores! i can't soak up enough of this little boy!
Just today i cleaned his drawers. They were a mess! i had to get rid of a few things and kept a lot of things just because i think he might be able to squeeze into them a little longer. i hardly doubt it - but this mommy couldn't bear to pack away too many things yet!

He's sound asleep right now...this nap is the 2 hour one! It is nice to be able to get things done around the house. This time is my chance to check-off things from my to-do list. It is nice to have this time. But  i will say that i look forward to him waking up and us getting to play a little more!

So it has been awhile since i did my Wednesday Weigh-In. i will admit that i haven't really wanted to because i've been feeling a little overwhelmed with the extra weight, and frustrated that it hasn't kept falling off like before. But this morning i stepped on the scale (something i hadn't done for awhile) and i did lose another 5 pounds! i still have 25 to go...but, i'm happy to say that hubby and i are starting "Insanity" in January and i've read that other women (even other mommy's who were trying to lose baby weight) have lost 30 pounds in 60 days! That's what i'm hoping for!!! 25 pounds would put me back to a happy weight, but 30 would get me to my best, ideal weight! Here's to hoping...

i've also been continuing a couple challenges with some friends on a Facebook group. We just finished a squat challenge (worked up to doing 250 squats) and are continuing an Ab challenge. Today we began a new one called the Thigh Challenge! i'm looking forward to the results from this one!
i can tell that my stomach is flattening with the Ab challenge and my jeans have been loser and a little baggy! All good signs! Can't wait to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes!

i am looking forward to this next year so much! it is going to be am exciting one, full of first for baby C! We are also adding 2 members to our family (officially...they are already family) with weddings in the summer and hubby starts his last year of dental school!!! i can't wait to launch Project 52 for next year - i have a great new theme! And i also plan to start my devotional blog back up! Everything is looking up for 2014! Can't wait to see what is to come!

Until next time...ta ta for now!
