PLENTY OF TEACHERS AND TEACHABLE MOMENTS.
REMEMBER THAT EACH EXPERIENCE IS A CHANCE TO GROW
AND  LESSONS COME IN ALL SHAPES AND SIZES.

The first lesson we are teaching baby C is how to sleep. It is the first thing as parents that we have struggled with. It is so hard to hear him cry and express a need to us but know that in the end he will have learned the gift of sleep and his life will be better for it. i guess that is what parenting is all about. Teaching your children lessons that will help them...even if the lesson is hard to learn.

Hubby and i had this conversation last night. We felt so bad for baby C as he cried in the other room. Maybe he was scared? Or perhaps he just wanted to be cuddled, rocked, or held. Whatever it was we were both having a hard time and couldn't wait for sleep to come. And it did. It didn't take long. i knew he was one tired boy and needed to sleep - badly. Once he did he slept the entire night!

i know that as parents we will have to teach baby C plenty of lessons. i know that some of these lessons will be hard ones, for us and for baby C, but his life will be better for it! i can't wait to see this little man grow up and to experience all of life with him! We love him so much!
