Sleeping like a baby...

Babies on schedules...

i say "yah right"...

This is baby C "sleeping". You can tell he's tired exhausted! Yet sleep didn't come...not for a long time.   i think daddy rocked him for at least an hour until he drifted off. Which leads to the next contradiction - baby on a schedule? Who put that thought in my head? Got my hopes up and everything...

baby C makes his own schedule. It goes a little like this...do exactly opposite of what mommy expects. Have i mentioned i'm a control freak? Have i mentioned i'm learning that life can't be controlled? Can daddy have his life lesson now? How about "plan ahead"...come on baby C! Lets teach daddy that one!

We really were blessed with a good baby! He is very active and alert. He loves trying to use his muscles and loves to look around, especially outside! He sleeps well (once asleep) and he really only cries when he is hungry. He is precious! We love him so much and i can't wait to watch him grow up. Except i can wait and he can't do it too quickly - like i can help it!
