Proud Moments

Thanks so all of you who voted for polish colors! You'll have to wait and see which one of the colors won! (Hubby was the tie-breaker). 

Now for my Blog Challenge Thursday! Wow...my most proud moment! This is really hard to think of. i've actually dedicated this week at work to a "Getting to Know Me" week with my students so i'm kinda used to answering hard questions on the spot right now! But this one is a question i haven't been asked yet....my most proudest moment? Let's see...

i have to say that i think my most proudest moments will have something to do with my children one day...but until then i have to think about another time. i guess the first thing that comes to mind when i think of times i've been "proud" have to do with teaching. 

i am a teacher. i love educating others and giving people opportunities that they may not have ever had through knowledge! i think my proudest moments come when a child shows that they have learned something through my teacher, when a student has an "ah-ha" moment in class, or when i see one of their faces light up when they do well on something they thought they wouldn't. These moments are amazing! i love feeling happy with them, encouraging them in these moments to remember the emotions they are experiencing, and to know that i may have had somethings to do with it! 

i have to say that my proudest moments are when others succeed. i love seeing them believe in themselves the way that i always have! it is truly a blessing and a great experience. 

My picAday is a glimpse into my "Getting to Know You" week. All of my students completed an art project last week and some of them are having me do one this week. It's been a lot of fun to get to know each other through our art.
