Inspiration comes from...

MUSIC

AN ART FORM WHICH EXPRESSES FEELINGS

WHEN WORDS WILL NOT DO EMOTION JUSTICE.

IT IS HEALING TO THE MIND AND SOULD;

A CHANCE TO ESCAPE FROM THE WORLD.

Ever since I was a little girl music made me so happy! While other little girls were playing house, school, or other pretend play games, I was listening to music while rocking on my rocking horse and singing my heart out. I didn't need TV or video games to pass the time away - just a great CD playing for me to rock-out to!

I can't remember the first time that I shared my love for music with others, but I know that I was really young. At church I would sing songs up front and I loved giving others the joy of music as well. I was blessed to have parents that encouraged my love of music and didn't mind me singing at the top of my lungs-most of the time. 

Music is a big inspiration for me. I love the way it makes me feel and the way that I can express myself when I'm consumed in a song. If I could, I would write music and play the piano for a living. Oh how I wish I never quite practicing. My parents warned me too - you'll regret it if you quit! And sure enough I do! If I try long enough to pluck out a song and learn the sheet music I will eventually be able to play it. I wish I had a piano now to practice such things, but time will have to tell if thats in the future for me. 

(BTW - so sorry for the belated post. I had every intention of posting yesterday but life got in the way.)

My picAday should have been of the great family get-together last night and the delicious food we ate! Instead, this is one is a repeat, but captures the theme! I want this piano!!
