Baby Cousin, Life and Such

Today was a productive day! I was able to get a lot of work done and even helped baby cousin get excited about her upcoming college career!

We had a while to hang out and chit-chat about the future and I did a little "advising" and we found ourselves taking career tests and looking over curriculum sheets. We narrowed in on quite an exciting career choice that I feel she will completely thrive in! I'm so excited to see her excited and looking forward to her education! (I'll let her tell the world about the good news of our findings and her mini-epiphany about what she wants to do).

I had a nice lunch-date with the three lovely ladies at the bottom (two of whom are my double cousins...try to figure that one out). It's really not that complicated...sounds kinda weird but is totally awesome! They are like sisters to me and I love them so much!

The rest of the day will be spent back in my running shoes (I took a break yesterday) then relaxing with a bestie watching TV episodes on Hulu. Tonight's schedule will consist of "Revenge" and "Lost" - both really intriguing shows and I highly recommend them!

Mama's Flowers

Tomorrow the hubby and I are off to visit family for the weekend. My mama's birthday was yesterday! We sent her these flowers as a surprise and are going to visit to give her hugs and a yummy meal to complete the rest of her birthday celebrations.

I just have to say....last night I sat down to attempt my Managerial Accounting, Business Law, and Macroeconomics homework...(ya I know I'm crazy for taking those 3 classes together). Well...long story short - I sat and stared at the books and computer for about an hour trying to figure out what the heck I was supposed to be doing. (I may have done more than just sitting and staring - I'm sure whining and complaining were involved. The answer....dropping all the courses! I am now officially not in school! After yesterday, you can read about my epiphany here, I had to decide what I was doing and why I was doing it. And I guess I decided I wasn't doing it for the right reasons...or not reason enough to continue. So now I'm praying about my future and deciding and waiting to see what is in store for me. I guess I'll have to wait for those opening and slamming doors for a clear answer! 

Here is my picAday! This moment was great! All of them later were eating candy bars while I sat and pouted about the fact that I can't have any...did I mention starting May 1st I cut sugar?!? That's another story...for another time. Good news is, I got through my month of no caffeine and I still haven't had a cup of coffee!!! Guess I kicked that habit in the butt!
