Not feeling well today...last night we experienced a "hit & run". Everyone was okay, but I was really shaken up about it. We were able to get the license plate of the guy who decided to "run" and called and reported him. Hopefully they catch him and he won't be able to do that to anyone else. People are so interesting these days...
Anyways, I came to work today feeling "not so good" and have been regretting it ever since. I just hope I'm not getting sick like everyone else I've come into contact with recently! Although the time off and catch-up on sleep would be nice, I can't afford to take off work and lounge around the house all day. So I'm here, almost done with the day!
Now that I've been negative-Nancy, I'll change my attitude! I'm really excited about this evening. I've been helping a friend plan her summer wedding and tonight it the night for registries! I've been looking forward to this for a while now! Some of you out there may think I'm crazy...even with my own personal experience of "wedding registries" I still want to go and do this! There are a couple reasons why I enjoy this so much (I won't go into all of them) but the main ones are:
1. I get to "shop" without spending money.
2. I get to practice my decorating skills.
3. I get to live vicariously through other people and "plan a wedding" again!
Ok, so I'm the crazy one! I'll admit to that! But I am really excited to help her choose colors and decor for their new home. I think it is a great way to get my creative side working and practicing...as you all know now, I do really love creating things and decorating so this is right up my alley!
