Didn't get my "organizing" done this weekend...instead I spent time with little sister and my hubby. Wasn't feeling too well on Sabbath so I tried to rest - which is what the Sabbath is for anyways! My hubby and I were able to spend some time with his family and that was nice as well.
Today is "Musical Monday". Recently, I've been listening to Christian Music in the mornings @ work and then I switch the tunes to Love Songs in the afternoon. I love working with music on in the background...it makes the day a little brighter and seems to go by faster.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I think the first song I ever performed for an audience was "This Little Light of Mine" or "Sweet Jesus". It was a very long time ago (probably 22 years ago) but I still remember all the words. My aunt would play the piano for me and I would sing my little heart out!
Now that I'm older, music is still a big part of my life but I'm not as "in the spot-light" as I once was. Now it is more an appreciation for lyrics and such. At our wedding, the music consisted of many songs that meant a lot to us and the lyrics were used to tell our story. I am so proud of our music list from our wedding and it bring me such happiness knowing that the songs we chose were personal to "us".
