Project 52: TWENTY FIVE

{A tribute to my future babies - the things I want them to know}

Life is full of...

PREPAREDNESS
GETTING READY FOR THE MAIN EVENT.
MAKING SURE ALL YOUR DUCKS ARE IN A ROW.
WHEN YOU ARE READY FOR WHAT IS TO COME,
EVERYTHING SEEMS TO GO MORE SMOOTHLY.

~*~
And we have hit the 9 month mark!!! It is official - i will have a baby this month! Crazy!!!

i know that a few weeks ago i called it "crunch time" but now we are truly there! In just a couple days i will be labeled "full term" - or baby C will be....we will be good to go at any given moment!

i decided it was time to prepare for the big event - which means pack my bags!!!
~*~
i've heard you can't pack too much.

Then i heard everyone packs too much.

i was taught to be prepared.

So here i am trying to juggle all these things and i decided to just be prepared with not too much stuff and not too little - not sure how i did?!?!

In my hospital bag i packed:

  • comfy clothes for laboring
  • comfy robe for after delivery
  • comfy clothes to wear home
  • cute socks for every outfit! Heard my feet might get cold with all the blood going to other important places...
  • a nursing bra
  • some "granny panties" - ones i don't mind throwing away in the end (or so i hear)
  • some energy snacks - for hubby, not me.
  • a sucker for me!
  • some very important items for capturing memories
    • notepad - so hubby can keep track of times of events so i'll remember later
    • pens, of course!
    • camera
    • charger - for phone and camera
    • baby C's journal - one i plan on writing everything in!
  • some very important "smelly good items" and toiletries
    • Gum
    • Mentos
    • Toothbrush/toothpaste (gotta make sure hubby's breath stays fresh while he's breathing in my face - birthing teacher's orders!)
    • more snacks
    • deodorant
    • brush
    • hair ties
    • facial wipes
    • chapstick
    • some feminine items - you don't wanna know!!! i didn't!
    • and most important...back massager - when hubby's hands get tired
Of course i will be taking my pillow but don't wanna pack that up yet! Baby C's car seat is ready by the door with his first outfit inside! i can't wait to see him in it!!!

And...i think i'm done!
~*~
How quickly time has flown! Can't believe we have 4 more weeks! i can hardly stand the wait!

Until next time...ta ta for now!
