A Little Bit of Everything...

So today's post will be a little of everything...

i didn't get the chance to post my Photo Challenge on Tuesday - i had a doctor's appointment instead. Got to hear baby's heartbeat (he's real active in there!) and was happy to hear he is growing healthy and strong!

My Photo Challenge was "Sparkles or Blurry" so here is what I came up with:

Yesterday i missed my "Baby Bump Wednesday" post and was sad because i wanted to share my nursery ideas!!

Last week little sissy and i registered at Target for baby C. i have always wanted a Classic Pooh nursery for a boy ever since i was little! i even had my mom save some pictures for me that i had in my room so that i might use them one day! And i'm going to!

Target was adventure and finding stuff for our little boy was so much fun! If you want to check it out, we are registered at Target under my name, or click here.

So i decided to stick with mostly natural colors. i'm focusing on ivories and light and chocolate browns. The nursery furniture will be espresso colored and the walls in the nursery will be a lighter brown. i want the nursery to be soothing and calm and i felt that sticking with mostly natural colors would be perfect!

Then comes the fun POP of color! i originally was going to add a pop of burnt orange to the room with one chevron strip on the wall. i love this idea and am still planning on doing it! (think Tigger orange). i then decided that i am in love with red and wanted to add spurts of red in the room as well. Maybe a red lamp shade or some other red art (think Pooh's red shirt). But....then i went to Target and saw this amazing green color that was absolutely fabulous looking with the browns, orange, and red! So i added green at the last minute. This will be very small pops but i'll have some sheets and blankets in the green color. i also decided that the bathroom would be green and have some frog towels - super cute!

If you want to check out my Pinterest board of baby C's nursery, please do so! Here is a sneak peak of some photos i was inspired by:

31 Day Blog Challenge: Introduction
Today's Blog Challenge: "last time i cried"?

This question shouldn't be asked to a preggo person!! i actually have been very happy and giddy the last few weeks, but i had a bit of a meltdown last Friday. i think this was the last time i cried!

Long story short, i wasn't feeling good in my own skin. It is so hard coping with body changes that are out of my hands. Yes, it is a wonderful reason to gain weight and not fit into my clothes, but it is hard!

None of my pants fit me and now my shirts are getting too tight/short with my growing belly. Friday i couldn't find anything to wear and i did breakdown...it was actually quite funny later on. i literally went from happy to over-the-top emotional wreck in 2 seconds! i really shocked hubby quite a bit! He was very comforting and understanding and made sure that i found some clothes to wear!

i'm telling you...doing this whole "having a baby thing" is much easier with someone who is supportive and understanding.

So that was the last time i cried - i've been good ever since! i have decided that i need to break down and buy maternity clothes. A good reason to go shopping, right?

Until next time...ta ta for now!
