5 on 10: APRIL

i was all prepared to capture my day in pictures for 10on10. Turns out i forgot to take photos of hours 10-12....so i decided that i would display my uncompleted work and instead call it "5on10"!

i wish that i had paid better attention to the time and captured photos of every hour but 5/10 will do today...i guess this is a great example of my "pregnancy brain". As hubby says, "and the pregnancy brain strikes again!" i guess it did...

Speaking of preggo brain, i've been dealing with some new symptoms this week. i am having trouble sleeping and finally slept really well last night. i decided that my pillow wasn't fluffy enough and so laying on my side was squishing my shoulders and making my neck hurt. So i stole a pillow from hubby and stacked two underneath my head last night and slept really well! i'm now up to 4 pillows (and one is a body pillow)! It is quite funny seeing how many i need to sleep with, but it is what works and gets me through the week. 

i haven't had too many other symptoms. i'm pretty much over the nausea (thank you Jesus) and i am not as hungry as much! i seem to have gotten a handle on the hunger and have started eating smaller portions and being more aware of what i'm eating. This isn't because i just lost control and decided to eat everything in site, i was just so hungry with many aversions that i didn't have much choice. There was this long list of what i couldn't even think about eating and then a very limited list of what sounded just okay. So i ate what i could get down and it wasn't always "healthy". But now i'm over that stage and back to eating better and feeling great! i've also started exercising a stretching more...and boy is that a whole other story!

Turns out pregnancy didn't make be a but more flexible...in fact, i've lost any flexibility i ever had. So hubby is helping me stretch and i have to say that it is very frustrating! Who knew how that stretching could make someone so emotional? It's hard! And i hate it! But i have to keep it up or i'll be pretty much screwed for the whole labor process....which is quickly approaching. 

25 more weeks to go...sounds so short! And we are less than a month away from seeing pink or blue! Can't wait!
