The Things i miss...

Today's Blog Challenge is all about the things i miss...

Lets just say that i could go on forever and ever about this topic because i'm such a nostalgic person and enjoy remembering the "good ol' days". Instead of going on and on, i'll make a list like i so often do! i am sure i will forget a few things that i actually do miss but it'll sum it up pretty well!

• Dinner's at grandma's house with endless amounts of cookies for dessert
• Coming home from school and just having to worry about homework
• Actually carrying a backpack - school shopping in general
• Playing American Girl Dolls, Barbi, and American Girl Babies! 
• Shopping with my mom and sister's...all getting to choose outfits we liked
• Grandma's PB&banana sandwiches with chocolate milkshakes
• Our old van - the one where the seats turned around towards the back!
• Sharing a room with my sissy - and redecorating every week!
• Scavenger hunts with the cousins
• Creative writing class @ SVJA
• Bike rides in the summer
• Our adventures in grandma's backyard (or should i say enchanted forest?)
• Summer break in general
• Family trips to the beach
• Sleepovers with the besties playing "piggly wiggly" and having camp outs
• Any celebration with bows and ribbons for grandma to adorn herself with
• Game nights with friends
• Sleepovers at the cousins...i miss these days (or nights)
• Scary movies
• lots of candy and popcorn
• donuts in the morning
• staying up all night talking
• My pets - Lucky, Champ, Cash, Charcoal, KC (and of course my sissy's cats too)
• Creating dances with the cousins to put on a show for our parents. LOL
• Photo shoots with the besties
• Pressing "record" on the stereo when one of our favorite songs came on the radio
• Summer days spent at bestie's house lounging by the pool and watching movies and listening to music all.day.long. (we had to move the rocking chair upstairs every time i came over so that i could rock in her room as we hung out)

Oh, the good ol' days - how i miss you! i know life is way different now, and i am enjoying it. But oh how i wish i could go back sometimes and relive all those great memories!
