The Story...From the Beginning

So this is my first post on my new "Baby Bump Wednesdays" and i couldn't think of a better way to begin then telling you all my story....

It started with a chair...haha just kidding. For those of you "Juno" fans you'll understand. i must have watched that movie 5 times in 2013 alone! i love it.

Anyways, back to my story...

The "old" plan was that hubby and i wanted to start a family sometime in his third year of dental school. We thought that we would be ready to open up our hearts to a little one around summer of 2013 and had planned on TTC around June 2013. i'm a planner. It was our plan. Plans change.

In September we had family over for dinner and games. i'm not quite sure what all took place that evening but someone, or something, convinced hubby and i that we were ready to start trying. Our plan changed from summer of 2013 to now.

Fast forward a few months...

We had been TTC for a few months and i was beginning to get discouraged. i knew that many, many women tried for a long time but i was growing impatient fast. i was trying to do something different every month that passed of trying but things weren't seeming to come together. It was frustrating!

i finally decided that i should start "temping" in January. For those of you who aren't sure what that means, you basically take your temperature every morning to help you know when O occurs and so on....to much info? My apologies...but its life! :)

So i began this new process and realized a few important things.

On January 17 my temperature dipped....this was a very good sign in the "temping" world! This basically meant that there was a good possibility that baby was in there but i had to wait a couple more days to know for sure.

On January 21 i got my BFP! i was so excited and i called bestie right away! i think i took about 4 tests that day just to make sure! Here was my favorite result:

i guess i needed the guarantee of a "yes" then trying to figure out all the lines and everything...

i was thrilled! It was what we had been waiting for...what i've been waiting for for so long!

So the rest is now history...in the making. We get to see baby tomorrow at our next appointment! i can't wait! i think we will get to see the profile and hopefully hear the heartbeat! 

i'm in love! i can't wait until tomorrow!
