Bring on the belly....i was about to title this post "Pregnancy Sucks..." and begin the post with "...the life out of you" but i thought i might get negative feedback and possibly some very upset people if they decided to only read the title!
i will admit that there have been some moments that suck and make me wish that 9 months was more like 9 days, but then i put it all into perspective and know that this is all for a very.good.reason.
i'm slowly coming out of those "moments" and into what they say is the "honeymoon stage" of pregnancy. i'm excited for this blissful time...especially after a few weeks of nausea, extreme hunger, fatigue and frustrations. i am entering a phase of "sleepless nights" but i'm totally willing to deal with this over the other options! Totally!!!

This picture was shot from my view looking down....i can't see my toes anymore! i don't understand why my belly is so big?!?!? Sissy-in-law sent me a photo of an idea of tracking my belly growth and the woman in it was 15 weeks. i quickly responded to sissy-in-law and said "why am i so much bigger than her and she is 15 weeks?!?" Not making me feel any better, she responded with, "and she's pregnant with twins!" OMG! We know that there is only one in there! Thank.you.Jesus. i guess this baby is just growing big and strong...and fast! We get to see baby again on Monday (our next appointment) so we will see just how big baby is!
And the real exciting news is we get to find out baby's gender on May 7....kind of. The doctor will find out the gender and we will do a reveal on Mother's Day weekend! i.can't.wait! i'm so excited for this! i'm in the process of planning both nurseries (a girl one and a boy one). Can't wait to reveal my ideas once we know the sex! So stay tuned and be ready for big news soon!
