A Walk in His Shoes

So our date night is on the calendar! We are headed to dinner and a movie on March 30...can't wait! We aren't quite sure yet what movie we will see (i wanted to see "Oz" but of course this was out of the question for hubby) but i'm sure we will look into it more when the date is approaching!

So, my next task is to "Imagine how it feels to be in your husband’s shoes.". This is more of a reflective challenge so i will be making sure i am paying attention to this this week.

Funny enough, today hubby is getting to feel what it is like in my shoes a lot of the time. i was busy all weekend (bestie's wedding was last night and i didn't get home until after midnight) planning and wedding coordinating. i am exhausted! But tonight is brother-in-law's "match" dinner (he got confirmation that he matched today for her medicine residency!). i am in charge of hubby is making stuffing for the celebratory "Thanksgiving" dinner....he went to the grocery store, is going to pick up the ingredients and dessert for tonight, and cook the stuffing! Like i said...he is getting a change to see how it feels in my shoes for an afternoon! Did i mention how sweet he was doing all this for me? And he didn't complain once!

Last night, after getting home exhausted and so so ready for bed, i had hubby help me take out the thousand bobby-pins that were in my hair. He was taking out my hair as i was scrubbing off the make-up from my face (i had to wash my face like four times!) He couldn't believe how many pins were in my hair but made sure they were all out before i crawled collapsed into bed. Again, sweetheart! i love him! <3

This week's Photo Challenge will be interesting..."Mother Nature". Not quite sure what i'll be capturing but excited to see what i'll come up with!
