Today is hubby's birthday!
Today i have work from 7:30am - 4pm.
Today i have class from 4:15pm - 6:30pm.
Today i can't do a whole lot of celebrating hubby's birthday...but we are making the most of it!
Tonight we are going to dinner.
This weekend i am making him his favorite meals.
This weekend i am giving him a present he has wanted for a long time.
This weekend i will spoil him with lots of his favorite things - he deserves it!
i wanted to move Marriage Monday to today's post in honor of hubby's birthday. i looked up this week's challenge and i had to take a deep breath and say to myself, "it's time".
Let me explain that a bit....the challenge for this week is to make, bake, or prepare hubby's favorite meal or dessert. This is something that hubby has been asking me to do for him since Day 1 of marriage....and i've done it once. i know, i know, bad wife!!! i am just not a baker, or a cook, or a very big "doer". i am a planner, and a dreamer, and a wannabe creator...now i just need to put these things into practice.
This weekend i am planning, and actually going to follow through, on making hubby's favorite breakfast - homemade waffles with homemade syrup! It will be complete with eggs, bacon, and some yummy fruit and orange juice! This will require me to make a grocery store trip out of the blue, and i will buy things that i will not finish because i don't use them in any other recipe....but that okay. i'm not complaining! i will do this with a happy heart and i'm excited to do this for him! i'm mostly excited because i know how much it will mean to him and he will have a happy heart as well and a super-full belly!

i haven't even looked to see what this week's Photo Challenge is. i have slacked off a bit and didn't even complete last week's challenge...so here's my plan. Since i will be in the kitchen this weekend i will complete last week's photo and then start fresh next week with the next challenge on the list!
