WOW!!! Favorite quote...hmmm
Luckily, my students just did a "getting to know me" survey not too long ago and i had a few of them ask me this question. Honestly, the only quote i know by heart (i do really like it) is,
"Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday, and all is well!"i can't remember where i first saw this quote but i know it was in high school. i think it was in a devotional book, or inspirational book, i was reading. i remember seeing it and not quite understanding its meaning. i remember having to break it down in order to really get what it was saying. Once i did, i fell in love with it!
i am a worry-wart! Always have been, i'm sure i always will be. i know that this isn't the best thing for me, but it is who i am and i know that it has been beneficial to my life in many ways. This quote brings a sense of calm and peace when i think of it. i guess it puts things into perspective for me when i'm worrying about things that are out of my hands. i know that my worrying, or my not being able to figure anything out, is not that big of a deal. i know there is a God who cares and won't let my world fall apart! i know that no matter how much i worry, it won't change anything - and for the most part this is good! i wouldn't want change to be in my hands anyways!
i hope that this quote brings peace to someone else! i wish i knew who it was by but i don't. All i know is that i like it! i like it's meaning, its simplicity with words, but ever-so-deep meaning!
Until next time...ta ta for now!
