25 Days of Christmas

"The Dating Divas" is a blog i follow that is dedicated to making relationships richer. i love the ideas they come up with and share and they also happen to have many pins on Pinterest! i found one the other day that i will be doing this Christmas for hubby. 

The idea is to have a countdown to Christmas to get hubby into the holiday spirit! Instead of breaking the bank and getting gifts for the "12 days of Christmas" (another pin i was hoping to do) this idea is much more financially doable and creative! 

Basically, i split up the 25 days before Christmas into thirds (the best i can) and come up with:

• 1/3 Compliments
• 1/3 Service
• 1/3 Christmas Activities 

The compliments won't be hard to come up with and coming up with things to do for him will be easy as well. i'm most excited about the Christmas activities to plan! hubby isn't the most "festive" person, but i know that he will enjoy the holiday spirit if he know it will make me happy - and it will!

After i come up with these items i place them all into envelopes, or other cutesy ways, and hang them from ribbon. The idea is that hubby will open one a day (until Christmas morning)! And now that i've told the world my idea i have to do it! =) 

i'm planning to decorate for Christmas this weekend and will complete this project so that he can start on Saturday (December 1st). i'm hoping this Christmas will be filled with lots of fun and hubby will get in a little more of a festive mood with this fun Christmas Countdown!
