i missed blogging for the past couple days. Hubby and i went up north to visit family and watch his brother's game! It was a fun weekend and it was so nice spending time with family and getting a little rest and relaxation!
Even though i was resting over the weekend i still didn't ignore the fact that i had to try another pin off my Pinterest board this week! I decided to try for this one:
Looks delicious, right? Well turns out they are! Sissy-in-law and i decided to make these over the weekend. We had both pinned them to our Pinterest boards and decided to give them a try. Here's what on of ours looked like:
So...they don't look exactly like the picture but they were still yummy!
A few words of advice....the Pinterest pin was the "small" version of the cookies. We weren't sure how long to cook ours for (the package on the cookie dough gave a "small" and "large" cookies option...turns out we were baking the larger and the pictures is the smaller ones) and we under-cooked ours at first. We also didn't get the nice, fluffy cookie because our cookie pan was too big. Our Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were melted from the store. They weren't as pretty as they look in the picture. Not sure how we could have fixed this but i wish they were prettier. Oh! and really take to heart the "let cool for 15-20 min" rule. This is real important. These little suckers are super messy if they aren't cooled all the way!! You will get messy!!
Turns out i really like chocolate and peanut butter...i knew this before i had these amazing cookies, but now i'm positive!
i thought that i had another pin i was trying this last week but i guess i was thinking of something else. Stay tuned for more updates! There are so many things i want to try and blog about in the next few weeks!
Until next time...ta ta for now!
