Almost Done-Summer Bucket List

Yay for Wednesdays!

i look forward to crossing off items on my list because it's so much fun! It always feels so great to accomplish something! Today i'm crossing off several items and will only have a few more to go...good thing because Summer is just about over (first day of Fall is September 22). i can't wait! i have a new bucket list to begin!

Here is what my list looked like as of last Wednesday:

2. Driving Range
3. Buy a Plant for my Office
4. Make a New Flavor of Homemade Ice Cream
5. Root Beer Floats
6. Run through the Sprinklers
7. Miniature Golf
8. Make smoothies
9. Go Walking/Hiking
10. Day Spa/Massage
11. Pancake/Waffle Breakfast
12. Beach Day
13. Create a door hanger with our last name
14. Pool-Side
15. Bike Ride
16. Squeeze Lemonade

So this past week i did complete a couple items but have also decided that i'm going to count others that i did way back in the beginning of Summer but i don't think i'll get to again. So here we go - picture proof and all!

First thing i'm crossing off the list is #2 Driving Range. Okay...so we didn't get back to the driving range this summer. Hubby thinks that i should take a lesson before i teach myself any more bad habits. He has done his best to teach me all he knows but things that i need professional help! i know it sounds terrible, but if you ever played golf (or hit balls) you would understand!!!

so i've decided to use an old picture (still from this summer) of us at the driving range. Hubby is in it, not me, but i promise i was there taking the picture!! Besides he is so much cuter than i would be in a golf picture! 

Goodbye #2 Driving Range. i hope to visit the driving range again soon...maybe "Getting a gold lesson" should be added to my Fall Bucket List!

Next on my list was #3 Buy a Plant for my Office. And i did! Little sissy and i went to Home Depot over the weekend and spent some time looking at the indoor plants. There was a couple different ones i liked (really wanted a bamboo plant) but ended up with the lovely "Peace Lily". i loved the name and the fact that it didn't need too much light, water, or care. That way i can leave it on weekends in my office and still have pretty flowers! i have to say that this morning i entered my office to find my new plant already drooping!!! It was terrible! i watered it and put it more in the sunlight and it perked right back up. i'm hoping that i'll be able to keep this little guy alive! 

#3 Buy a Plant for my Office  is off the list! Yay for prettiness in the office!

Ok...so the next on the list is #6 Run through the Sprinklers. So i actually didn't fully run through them - but i really wanted to! i had been waiting for a time to do this but every time the opportunity came about i either didn't have someone to snap a picture (and phone/camera getting wet was no good) or i couldn't run through them because i was at work! So i say these nice, inviting sprinklers on at the campus and really, really wanted to run through them but i couldn't. Instead, i took a picture and walked away. BUT!!!...while i was walking away i did get sprayed! The wind was blowing and i technically "walked" through the sprinklers. So that counts, right?!? 

Well, i'm counting it! So goodbye #6 Run through the Sprinklers. With i could have had more fun with you!!!
