Last week i introduced
my Summer 2012 Bucket List. i knew that i would have to double-up on checking
of the list since Summer does not contain 20 weeks and i have 20 items on my
list.
i'm happy to say that this week i was able to
complete a few items from the list. i'm
hoping that i will be just as successful next week.
Here is my list as of
last Wednesday with only 1 item marked off.
- Farmer’s Market
- Driving Range
- Create something for the Garden
- Make Popsicles
- Root Beer Floats
- Run through the Sprinklers
- Miniature Golf
- Make smoothies
- Go Walking/Hiking
- Day Spa/Massage
- Pancake/Waffle Breakfast
- Beach Day
- Create a door hanger with our
last name
- Fly a Kite
- Bike Ride
- Squeeze Lemonade
Strawberry Shortcake- Car-wash
- Summer color nails
- Bubble Fun
Good bye #'s 8, 9, 18,
& 19. I completed these and am marking them off my list.
i'm not so much a smoothie person but really enjoyed this one.
As you can see, i used strawberries, bananas, and Ovaltine
powder.
Little sissy and i
decided to take the pups for a walk on Sunday. We had such a great time
catching up and the puppies enjoyed themselves too. We walked for a good hour
or so. The pups were super thirsty and exhausted from the walk by the time we
were almost home. Tobe's was quite sore from the exercise and enjoyed lounging
around the house for the next 2 days.
i decided it was time to
wash our car. It was really dirty from all the dust and it was desperate for a
bath. i washed, dried, waxed, and all other necessary things you do at a car
wash. It was sparkling clean when i was finished....
i decided to paint my toenails a
cute coral/orange color for summer! i love Essie nail polish - they have so
many awesome colors and it never chips! I can now say my nails are ready for
the next couple weeks of summer!
I hope that next week will have some
more things to cross off my list. I'm real excited about one thing i'm working on checking off....i bought all
the stuff i need and just need to work on the art project! Can't wait!
Until next time...ta ta for now!
