This has been the first week that I've introduced sugar back into my diet...bad idea! Yesterday I ended up with a headache and I'm pretty sure it was caused from my sugar intake.
Yesterday was a bad day for sugar. I ordered a soda at lunch, then my bestie treated me to Starbucks, and then I munched on chocolate with another bestie last night. I'm telling you...bad! By the time I got home last night I had a bad headache and just wanted to go to sleep.
I've decided to stop the sugar craziness and try to avoid it as much as possible. I didn't realize how bad it made me feel until now!
I guess this post is suitable for today because it falls into my "to-do" list. It's something that I'm going to strive for from now on. Now that I know how good it feels to not have sugar in my system I'm going to aim for that. Now, I'm not gonna get all crazy and picky about everything I eat - I just want to keep a conscious mind.
If you haven't tried eliminating sugar from your diet you should try it. At least give it a shot and see how you feel. I haven't felt so great in a long time (except for yesterday).
My picAday had lots to say in itself. Soup & Salad session was today! I love these days! The soup was super yummy today and, as always, the bread an salad was amazing! I had to throw in a pic of my water bottle. I depend so much in this during the work day! I try and drink at least 3 full bottles of water before I head home for the day. I've been behind this week which probably didn't help with eliminating my headache last night. The last pic is of my headband. My cousin sells these and my mom decided to buy me a few. I love them! I love that I can throw it on in the morning and 1) hide any fly-away hairs and 2) add some color and jazz to my outfit!
