Sissy's Coming

This weekend was probably the first time I wasn't with family and friends over Memorial Weekend.

This made me sad.

I found myself feeling lonely and sorry for myself a lot and decided to fill my days with cleaning and such. I actually got a lot done and yet the list is still a mile long of things I could have accomplished. Oh well, I guess that's how life goes sometimes!

Sabbath was welcomed with open arms! I got to sleep in and I snuck a nap in later in the day. My hubby had to study his behind off this weekend so it left me to spend time alone and fend for myself.

Sunday was also welcomed because I still had one more day off to relax. I was able to complete a 2 mile run (yay for marking things off the list), washed the car (a much needed task), and cleaned, cleaned, cleaned the house! I also got to go to lunch with a friend and catch up with her. The evening was spent watching movies (it was a Julia Roberts night with "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "Steel Magnolias"). I wrapped it all up with popcorn, PB&J sandwiches, and watermelon! YUM, YUM!

Monday was not as welcomed, but I got through it anyhow. I was able to run again - but only a mile. I was super sore from the day before and really tired. My day seemed to be duplicating itself and I found myself washing another car - my bestie's was dirty! After running a few errands here and there, the day came to an end and I just had to get hooked on "The Bachelorette". Oh my...

Today is "Tickle me Pink Tuesday" but it feels like Monday. I had to catch up on my weekend! Well today I'm super excited, and tickled, that my sissy-in-law is coming for a visit! She'll be here Friday-Sunday and I can't wait! I'm not sure what I'll plans will include but I know it will be all sorts of fun!

Can't. wait.

So, my picAday is capturing my lunch date with baby cousin and her bestie! We had lunch outside and it was beautiful weather! We just wished that we could have stayed outside all day!

Lunch Dates

Until next time...ta ta for now!
