FAILURE

Life definitely has its ups and downs, but when failure strikes it's the perfect opportunity to take one more step forward towards achievement. 

Success is what you make of it. My hubby asked me not too long ago how I defined success. This is something that I needed to be asked, and think about for myself, since I've never really thought about it. I guess I was defining it the way I felt others thought I should. But when I stopped and thought about what success really meant to me, I realized that I had achieved it. Sometimes it's a matter of perspective...okay, all the time actually. 

Lately I've felt a bit like a failure. I was worried that I'd made wrong decisions that and it was effecting my, and our, future. I felt that if I'd been "smarter" about things I would have not taken so long to make decisions and my life would've turned out a bit different. 

Here's the thing though....if my life wasn't how it was right now because of different decisions in the past, I'm glad I made the choices I did. I love my hubby, our family, where we are at now in life, and I wouldn't change a thing. We are happy. We are in love. That is all that matters.

My picAday is actually from last night. It was baby cousin's class night. She has a gorgeous solo in the choir and made us all cry in her tribute to her family! She has become such a beautiful young lady and I love her oh-so-much!
