Have I mentioned lately how entirely lucky I am to have found my soul mate? I can't imaging life without him and I have to say that I can't even imagine imagining life without him with me.
We have known each other since Kindergarten. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true! We were always friends, but really fell in love our first year of high school. I remember knowing at that age that he was the one. I know he felt it too because he would tell me stories of how his momma would question our future a little hesitantly (it wasn't just her...my momma did the same) and he would reassure her that he knew we are right together. We were only 15 at the time...I know - babies, but we knew that we had something special!
I've known him almost all my life and am almost to the point where I've loved him for half of it. Some people might say that we settled. Took the easy road of marrying our high school sweetheart. I say we are lucky that we found each other and weren't stupid enough to not see what was right in front of us. I also think that they're a little jealous too...the ones that say "those things".
We have what it takes! We've got the ingredients for a happy life together! I can't wait to continue this happy ever after with that man of my dreams by my side!

Well, the kitchen needs cleaning, the house needs dusting and vacuuming, and I've got a headache from inputting date into excel all morning at work. Tonight calls for a long-awaited cup of coffee (first cup in over a month) and some TV show catch-up. My picAday is my to-do list. A little embarrassing, but it'll give me the motivation to clean!
