Some people may think that new year's resolutions are silly (and maybe they are) but I find myself more than ever motivated at the beginning of the year! I don't know, maybe it's a new start? Maybe it's the fact that I'm just a planner anyways and I get a great excuse to plan ahead for the future and label it a "resolution". Whatever it may be, I like them!
Last year I categorized my resolutions into 3 groups: Financial, Health, and Spiritual. I found it easier to create the resolutions if I had them in separate themes. I also am just a organizing freak and like any excuse to sort, label, and organize.
Anyways, I did the same this year. I stuck with the 3 groups and decided on some goals for 2012!
- Financial
- Start saving for a family car
- Stick to a planned budget
- Live off less and save more!
- Health
- Reach my goal weight (which will remain unsaid)
- Drink at least 8 cups of water a day
- Do cardio 3 times a week and strength training 2 times a week
- Spiritual
- Continue my Spiritual Blog "There is Nothing Greater than Grace"
- Start a couple's Bible study
Have I mentioned that "12" is my favorite number?
Okay, so I stole it from my hubby back in 7th grade. I had a major crush on him and I noticed he had chosen jersey "12" for football and so I decided to snag the same number. Little did I know that in just a few years after that we'd be sporting the "#12" while holding hands.
Let's just say that "12" has done us well and I'm hoping it will do the same for this new year! I can't wait to see what this year brings about. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a great one!
Until next time, ta ta for now!
