Here are the items I've crossed off:
- Devote a time every night to couple's devotion
- Be able to run a mile without stopping
- Buy new fluffy pillows for all my shams
- Get a work promotion
- Try some new restaurants
My hubby and I have been having couple's devotions before I go to bed every night. I try to be asleep by 10pm, and since it takes me forever to fall asleep, being in bed my 9pm is good and so he reads to me and I get to fall asleep when we're done. We are trying to read the bible in its entirety. We are already almost to 2 Chronicles!
Running has never been my thing. Little sister is the master at running and I've just never had the motivation, or the endurance, to do it. I started going to the gym last month, okay maybe in November, and began running on the treadmill. I'm proud to say that I accomplished this goal and was able to run over a mile without stopping. Yay for me!
So, I bought pillows for all my empty shams! Our bed finally has some throw pillows and the guest bedroom now has some pillows as well! Thanks to "Anna's Linens" for cheap, great pillows!
Okay, about the work promotion. When I made the list I was working at LSU and was hoping for a promotion. Now that I'm working at a preschool there really isn't any promotion to be given. I will say that I did find a new job and I did just recently get the title of "head" teacher in the classroom so that is good enough for me!
Last but not least, I tried some new restaurants! I will say that I am now a big fan of Indian food! I know, I know...those of you who know me are probably falling off your seats, but it is true! Some great friends of ours took us to an amazing Indian restaurant and I fell in love with it! I will say that I still have only tried the food that they ordered that night, but I love it! That's how I am though. I find one thing I enjoy and I stick to it. It works for me! Anyways, I know have branched out and tried other Indian restaurants and I am addicted.
Well, I feel good about crossing these things off! I wonder what I'll work on for next week's post?
Until next time...ta ta for now!
