The First

Today was a lot of "firsts" for me.

1. My first day or work
2. Our first anniversary
3. I received my first anniversary rose (as a married woman)

I remember celebrating our first month anniversary back in high school. My hubby (then my boyfriend) had a single rose waiting for me on my desk so I'd see it when I got to school. Now, almost 10 years later, there was a single rose brought to me in celebration of our 1 year anniversary!

There won't be many more "firsts" in my life. I think we're down to first born, first home, and first grandchild (now that's a long way off). I'm so excited that I get to be spending the rest of my "firsts" with my hubby!
