Short Work Weeks

Thankful Thursday is here!!!
Today I'm thankful for 4-day work weeks!

After the school year ended  our work scheduled shifted from 5-day work weeks to 4-days! It was very exciting since an extra day off is always welcomed. Because of the shift I do get home later (which is a bummer) but it is all worth it when Thursday afternoon roles around and I am DONE for the week! Kinda like right now....

We just completed our 1st 2-day summer orientation at work! I successfully registered 4 students for fall quarter, and was able to get to know many more of them. These orientations are getting me excited about meeting new students. At first I wasn't a fan...I was so sad to have to say goodbye to my previous students. Maybe it was the fact that they were my "first" students, but it was really hard! I hated finishing up my files because it meant  they were moving on and I didn't get to see them every week anymore. I've told all of them that I'm here for them for whatever they need! After today, I am a little more open to meeting and having new students.

Tonight is date night for me and my hubby. I think we're going to frozen yogurt and snuggling up on the couch and watching some of our favorite shows later. I'm so thankful for these times and I treasure these moments knowing that they may not always be here. With Dental school around the corner I know that these times are precious and I will soak them all up while I can!
