A long, hard day!

Today was a long day...

i am one tired momma!

Look at how big this boy is getting! And i still have 2.5 months to go?!? Yikes!

Today was such a long day at work...i think it was the first day that i had to play my "pregnancy card" and ask to stay in the office instead of running around the campus all day for orientation. i did make it to lunch, but the afternoon consisted of me staying inside doing paperwork, organizing, and advising.

Work was supposed to end at 5:30pm but i ended up staying until 6:10pm! Like i said, one long/hard day! Luckily the weather was not super hot and the sun was hidden behind some clouds so the weather was kind! i am very appreciative of that - especially after getting my "notification text" from the electric company warning me that we're over our set budget for the AC being on! Worried about that bill...

We are slowly getting baby C's nursery furniture! We put together the glider, the "pack n play" and this weekend i'll be putting together his swing. The dresser/changing table and crib are still in their boxes and his dresser/wardrobe should be here by Friday! i can't wait to see everything together and in his room. It is one big fat sign that he is coming!

Another big, far sign is my ever-growing belly! i swear it is getting harder and harder to walk, breathe, sit - let's just say move! He is so active these days...more than ever! Getting stronger and stronger too! He likes to push up on my ribs to stretch out (at least i think that's what he's doing). He's getting too big to be stretched out like that and needs to start "folding" in half soon...i think i have one stubborn boy in there who is refusing to curl up! i wonder where he gets that from?!?!

  1. Congrats to your hubby for passing boards, I know how stressful that day is and waiting for the results! You surely have popped! I love it! I'm sure you're just over the moon with excitement for this little one. You'll make an incredible mama :)
