The Ugly Truths of Pregnancy

i was given the idea of blogging about common pregnancy problems....or the ugly truth about pregnancy. i thought this was a hilarious idea and wanted to run with it! So thank you to my awesome coworkers/friends who gave me this idea! Here we go!
~*~
So those of you who are pregnant, have been pregnant, or know a lot about pregnancy probably can relate to most of these "ugly truths" about pregnancy. If i leave anything out, please feel free to add it in the comment section!

The Ugly Truths of Pregnancy:

  • everyone thinks you are so out-of-shape due to all the huffing and puffing you are doing...in reality, the baby is just smooshing your diaphragm and you really can't get enough air!
  • Your belly gets in the way of all sorts of things...including other people and doors. Yesterday i opened a car door right into my belly bump
  • The real reason why pregnant mommas waddle is not due to the extra weight, but actually because we aren't used to the fact that our thighs are rubbing together and would rather walk with our feet farther apart then deal with that uncomfortable feeling!
  • Doing dishes is a new chore...you are very clumsy and knives are even more dangerous to hand wash then they ever were before.
  • You sweat like you've never sweat before
  • Sleeping comes easier when you have a pregnancy pillow; however, you are extra hot with the giant pillow surrounding your entire body and sleep become difficult again. It is a lose, lose situation!
  • Indigestion is no fun...Tums are great - but don't eat more than 11 in a day or you will experience kidney stones - another extraordinary pain to pass out of your body!
  • Stretch marks end up other places than your belly....so lather up every.single.part and be prepared to find them in places you didn't think were possible. Just sayin'
i'm sure that i have missed  plenty of "ugly truths". Please add your own pregnancy revelations in the comment box if you have more to add!

Until next time...ta ta for now!
