i am going to be a mom! 

i am a mom!

i have a precious miracle inside me!

Hubby and i are so excited to let the world know that we are expecting. We found out this amazing news in January and i've been bursting at the seams to tell it to the world!

Most of you have figured by now that i have been waiting to be a mom for so long. This is what i want in life. This is my dream. This is something that i can easily say i have waited for all my life!

A few months ago i wrote a poem to my unborn child and it is now time to share this with the world!

Before You 

I think it’s safe to say that I’ve waited for you all my life. 

Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted to be your mom. 

I was created to love you, nurture you, and hold you in my arms. 

Before you, my life was incomplete. 

I can’t wait to tell the world you’re finally here; a long-awaited miracle. 

I can’t wait to see how much of me is in you. 

Will you have my eyes – your daddy loves my eyes and I know he can’t wait to look into yours. 

I hope that you have all the best of him in you; there is so much greatness in him to have. 

His mind, his heart, his smile. 

I can confidently say that you have the best dad in the whole world and he will love you so much. 

Having the best of me and him in you will make you a force to be reckoned with. 

All that was before you has brought us to this moment and nothing else seems to matter anymore. 

Before you, I could only imagine a time when my dreams would come true. 

Before you, I could only hope to meet you one day. 

Until then, I will continue to await your presence and to feel you inside me. 

Until then, I will continue to live my life before you.
